I placed a prepaid order worth around ₹400 through the Domino’s app. The order was successfully placed from the Tatibandh outlet, and it even showed that the food was prepared. Naturally, I was expecting the delivery. However, I then received a call asking about my location. When I mentioned that the delivery was for Gogaon, they immediately said, “We don’t deliver there.” I explained that the order was already placed and prepaid, but instead of giving me a proper solution, they just said, “You will get your refund,” and cut the call. This was extremely disappointing. If Domino’s does not deliver to certain areas, then the app should not even allow customers to place an order in the first place. Gogaon is very much a part of Raipur city — not some faraway village — so I fail to understand why this location is excluded. Overall, this shows very poor service and lack of responsibility towards customers. A brand like Domino’s should ensure that their app is updated correctly and that customers do not face such frustrating experiences.
